　ある ひと が カラス を つかまえたので、あし に ヒモ を つけて じぶん の こども に かわせ ました。
　A man caught a crow and he gave it to his child with a leash on its leg.

　けれども、カラス は にんげん に かわれる のが いや で たまりません。
　But it is irresistible for the crow to be kept by a man.

　それで、ちょっと した すき に にげだして、じぶん の す に かえりました。
　So the crow took a chance to escape and he returned to his nest.

　ところ が あし に ついて いた ヒモ が き の えだ に からみついて、もう とびあがれなく なってしまいました。
　However, the leash on his leg tangled around the tree and he could not fly up to the sky anymore.

　これでは、うえじ に する しか ありません。
　This means he would starve to death.

「まったく、ついてない なあ。あのまま にんげん に かわれて いれば、いっしょう たべもの に ふじゆう しなかった のに。
“For god’s sake! I am out of luck! If I stayed with the man, I would not suffer from shortages of food for the rest of my life.

　これが こうして、うえじに すること に なるとは」
　But here I am. I am starving to death.”



　これは、かんがえなし に こうどう すれば、
　The story shows if you act without thinking,

　ちいさな きけん から のがれよう と して、もっと おそろしい きけん に とびこむ こと が ある こと を おしえています。
　there is a possibility that you will make matters worse when you are trying to escape from small danger.
